All weekend long at the Palms, electronic music ruled the land with headphones in one hand and a crossfader in the other. The Fabulous Fest drew a plethora of DJs to the four-day party from Friday to Monday, but it also landed Rihanna for dinner at N9NE Steakhouse with rapper Fabolous in a group of 12. It’s unconfirmed how many of those 12 were bodyguards who spent the whole day training attack dogs to go on the “B” in “Over there, it’s Chris Brown!”

Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves was doing his 21st birthday in a private dining room with a group of 20. Regina King and Malcolm Jamal-Warner were with a group of six. So, Theo Huxtable and Cliff Huxtable were in town on the same weekend and there wasn’t any teary reunion? Was Phylicia Rashad not invited? Someone needs to look into this. Theo even went upstairs to the Playboy Club. We thought Cliff taught him better than that. Hinder was upstairs at Moon.

Meanwhile, in party news, Carl Cox spun at the pool Sunday, as did Manufactured Superstars, Keith Evans and Jordan Stevens. Inside Rain, Felix Da housecat held down the fort, along with Markus Schulz, DJ Reza, Scotty Boy and Michael Fuller.

To start Fabulous, Steve Aoki and DJ Scotty Boy spun for Ditch Friday before DJ Jazzy Jeff, sporting a DJ AM tribute shirt, had the turntables a week after AM’s death. AM’s regular opener, DJ R.O.B., continued in that capacity. Outside at the pool, Danny Love did a set with DJ BEEJ opening.

Jeff had dinner at Nove Italiano before taking the stage. Flavor Flav was with a ladyfriend at Nove as well. We’re just going to throw it out there for the record, VH1 took a creepy dark turn ever since Flav went away. We don’t think that’s coincidence.

The Nature boy, Ric Flair, brought three friends to dinner at N9NE Steakhouse. Matt Goss went up to Playboy Club after debuting Matt Goss Live From Las Vegas in the lounge where he was joined by Chelsea Lately’s Chuy Bravo, former Miss Hawaii Kelly Hu and Robin Antin.

On Saturday, Miguel Migs, Nockodemus, Keith Evan entertained poolside before Paul Oakenfold made his return to Rain following his European tour with Madonna. It was the one-year anniversary of Perfecto and saw Louis Puig and Frank Richards also on the ones and twos while Goss, Antin and Michael Clarke Duncan were in the crowd. Outside at the pool, Eric Cubeechee took the evening shift.
